Wow! It’s been awhile. I guess I could blame it on school, the weather, girl troubles, the lack of Rockstar in the drink machine, but it all comes down to one thing: It’s time to get off myass.
Let’s see… The last thing I remember was taking off the mask of the writer. This was followed by my diving into Neil Gaiman’s Anansi Boys (an excellent book), and the first draft of a short story. Anyway, I’ve been doing everything but this.
In other news, “Burn Notice” is back for its third season. It’s almost as good as before, or maybe some of the luster is just gone because we know who burned him now. The USA network’s new series, “Royal Pains”, is okay. It’s like if the people who wrote “House”, The Dresden Files, Graze Anatomy, Doc Hollywood and general hospital all got drunk together and wrote a show. I guess it’ll have to fill the void of “Supernatural” for a while, but it’ll never be able to replace “Monk”, which is going into its final season this summer. I’m not really sure how they’ll end it, I’m voting on one of those life-goes-on scinarios, like on Seinfeld and Frasier.
And something else. I found a program that allows you to make Youtube videos .mp3’s. You can find it It features a reasonable interface, and the ability to do multiple files at the same time. It just takes longer with the more stuff you slap on it.
And so, as I listen to the Dropkick Murphys due their rendition of “Black Velvet Band”, it’s time to wrap this thing up with the promise that, at least for the next few days, there will be regular updates.
